Compared to conventional open and pressure-less processes, Moldrup plants with the hydro-thermal system under vacuum and high vapour pressure are
- 2 – 7 times quicker
- Work at temperatures 20 – 30 C lower with the same or better result
- Never bring the wood down to 0% moisture content
- Use less energy
- Use vacuum to prevent the plant and the wood from catching fire
